About NaijaPress

NaijaPress is a news intelligence API focused on Nigeria. We collect news from approved Nigerian and relevant international publishers, organise it into a consistent structure, and make it available to developers, analysts and organisations through a REST API.

Principles

• Attribution first. Every article links to the original publisher. We return titles, links, structured metadata and, on higher plans, AI summaries, not full article text, unless a source's licensing allows it.
• Accuracy over volume. Our summaries and metadata describe what the publisher reported; NaijaPress does not independently verify claims. Uncertain entity matches and new topics go to human review.
• Respect for sources. We use feeds and permitted access methods, honour rate limits, and do not bypass paywalls or access controls.
• Security by default. Keys are hashed, limits are enforced on the server, and customer data is isolated per organisation.
